Quantum of dreariness and drudgery

I know this is late, so I’ll keep it brief. Besides the memories of this awful film are already fading and I just saw it. Somehow my instinct of self-preservation had kept me from seeing it in theaters even though I really enjoyed Casino Royale and Daniel Craig. In QOS there is no redeeming value. There is no plot, no story, no Bond coolness, no gadgets, no memorable villain, no cool chicks, NOTHING. And Daniel Craig looks hagged – maybe he was supposed to be pining for his mate (the one who was killed off in CR). But what is with the ramp model pout that he had on the entire time? Maybe they thought they could make him look sexy and overcome his haggedness with the pout – NOT.

Forget about pining for Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan, at this point I am wishing that George Lazenby was back. Never saw so much hope in a franchise dashed so rudely!

  2. was terribly disappointed with this one particularly after bond movies got new life with Casino royale . there is no story at all and its just a combination of diff stunts .

but still Daniel craig is better bond than Pierce Brosnan . what say 😉

    • It was indeed a dreadful film for me. And I really like Bond films. Oh well, all good things must come to an end.
